A perfect hot drink during the upcoming cold autumn/ winter days: sahlep! A cinnamon sprinkled drink that will conquer your heart for sure!

Salep is actually a flour made from a specific species of orchid. A lot of Middle Eastern cuisines use this flour in their beverages and desserts. This is what makes our milk salep. Here the easy recipe of sahlep.
Believe you can and you're halfway there.
INGREDIENTS (2 glasses)
2 glasses of room temperature milk
1 tsp powder sahlep
1 tsp of sugar (add more if you like it really sweet)
1 tsp of cinnamon
Little bit of cinnamon to top it off
Instructions
Pour the milk and the sahlep power in a (tea)pot and put it on the stove on a low-medium heat. The important part is to keep stirring during the whole process, otherwise the milk will lump together.
Add the sugar. When the milk starts getting thicker, add the cinnamon and keep stirring.
When it starts to boil, turn off the stove and pour the sahlep in a mug and top it off with a little bit of cinnamon.
There you have it, your own delicious mug of sahlep.
